Stranded loose tube cable with non-metallic central strength member(GYFTY)

Brief introduction

The fibres are placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A piece of Fibre Reinforced Plastic locates in the center of cores as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The cable is completed with a polyethylene(PE) sheath.
